Preparing for Integration for Use with SAP® Applications
If you want to integrate Loftware Enterprise™ SP with SAP ERP, you must perform the tasks described in this section to prepare for integration.
The user performing the preparation for Integration for use with SAP® Applications must have working knowledge of Loftware Enterprise SP components and of SAP ERP. Some steps involve configuration within SAP ERP by an SAP Basis Administrator on the SAP Application Server and are included for information purposes only.
To prepare for Integration for use with SAP® Applications, perform the following tasks:
- Configure the SAP JCo - Required for all types of Integration for use with SAP® Applications.
- Install Loftware Integration Command Line Interpreter (CLI) for SAP Applications - For SAP BC-XOM integrations only.
- Configure a Loftware Enterprise SP User for Loftware Integration Command Line Interpreter (CLI) for SAP Applications - Required if using Loftware Integration CLI for SAP Applications.
- Install Loftware Integration Status for SAP® Applications - For SAP BC-XOM integrations only. Recommended if integrating Loftware Cloud Enterprise SP with an on-premise instance of SAP ERP.
- Configure a Loftware Cloud Enterprise SP User for Loftware Integration Status for SAP Applications - Required if using Status for SAP Applications.
- Enable Communication with Loftware Integration Status for SAP Applications - Required if using Status for SAP Applications.
- Configure an SAP User for Loftware Enterprise SP - Required for all types of Integration for use with SAP® Applications.
