User Interface: Object Promotion Destination
Object Promotion Destination in System A record of the success or failure of a promotion attempt. In the System Management page, the Object Promotion Destination pane lists the promotion results for which this Loftware Application Server acted as the destination server. for which this Loftware Application Server acted as the destination server. The act of attempting to transfer objects specified in a promotion configuration from one Loftware Application Server to another.. In this page, you can also publish or roll back the versions of objects that were promoted.
If promotion was performed using direct access (Promote button)
If promotion was performed using indirect access (Export to File button)

The following options are displayed when you select a promotion result.

Promoted objects and references |
The list of objects that an administrator attempted to promote, along with the state of each object as a result of the promotion attempt and any other actions performed. This list includes all objects in the promotion configuration in which the user clicked Promote in the Object Promotion page on the source server, regardless of whether they were explicitly included or are referenced objects that were implicitly included. Command Buttons
Option | Description |

Display any additional information available about the result of the most recent action performed on the promoted objects. Initially, this is information about the result of the promotion attempt. After publishing or rolling back, this is information about the result of whichever of those actions was performed. If no additional information is available, then the button is inactive. |
Publish |
On the destination server, publish |
Roll Back |
On the destination server, for all changed objects that were included in the promotion result, republish the last published version of each object that existed prior to the promotion attempt. Any new objects that were added by the promotion attempt are not removed. |
Delete |
Delete the record of the promotion result. Deleting a promotion result does not roll back the act of promotion or affect the promotion configuration. However, it may cause the next promotion attempt for this promotion configuration to treat unchanged objects as changed. |
Close |
Close the promotion result. |
