SystemManaging Logging Levels

An administrator can use the Log Levels page in System System Management to modify the configured logging levels in Loftware Enterprise SP. For more information, see Event (Application) Logging.

In a distributed services environment, changes made to the logging configurations are applied to the initial and all additional Loftware Application Servers.

Change an Appender or Log Level

Note: To perform this task, you must be signed in as the ClientAdmin, SystemAdmin, or SuperAdmin user. For more information, see Controlling Access to System Settings

  1. In System System Management, click Log Levels.
  2. Double-click the logger you want to modify.
  3. Modify the Appender and/or Log Level fields as needed. For more information, see Logging Levels.

    Note: You cannot change the name of an existing logger. Editing the Logger Name field creates a new logger.

  4. Click Save.

Add a New Logger

Note: To perform this task, you must be signed in as the ClientAdmin, SystemAdmin, or SuperAdmin user. For more information, see Controlling Access to System Settings

  1. In System System Management, click Log Levels.
  2. Double-click any logger.
  3. In the Logger Name field, delete the existing name and enter a new name for the new logger.

    Note: You cannot change the name of an existing logger. Editing the Logger Name field creates a new logger.

  4. Modify the Appender and Log Level fields as needed. For more information, see Logging Levels.
  5. Click Save. The new logger is displayed in the table.

Reset Log Levels

Note: To perform this task, you must be signed in as the ClientAdmin, SystemAdmin, or SuperAdmin user. For more information, see Controlling Access to System Settings

  1. In System System Management, click Log Levels.
  2. To reset all loggers back to the default settings, click the Reset All button.
