SystemUser Interface: System Alerts

The following configurations are available in System System Management > System Alerts.

Configuration

System Alert

: The system alert and monitoring is enabled. For more information, see Set System Alerts.

: The system alert and monitoring is disabled.

Output Path

The fully qualified path to the generated results file.
To preserve previous results files, prevent files from being overwritten by including the timestamp substring %t in the filename.

Example

C:\Loftware\Alerts\alert_%t

Default: Empty. If no path is specified, a results file is not generated.

Output Level

Which urgency level to include in the results file.

  • Informational: Includes measurements with urgency levels of Informational, Warning, and Alert.
  • Warning: Includes measurements with urgency levels of Warning and Alert.
  • Alert: Includes measurements with an urgency level of Alert only.

Default: Alert

Monitor Level

Time interval upon which the measurements are taken and results file generated.

Default: 5 minutes

Alert/Warn Level Values

Blocked Threads

The number of threads with a blocked state.

Whole number

Broker Memory

The percentage of broker memory used.

0% to 100%

Cache Misses

The number of cache misses generated by Loftware Enterprise SP.

Whole number

Disk Space

The amount of available disk space. If the actual value falls below the specified Alert Level/Warn Level value, then an alert/warning is generated.

Job Archiving

The number of jobs in the Job database table that are done.

JVM Memory

The percentage of memory the database is actively using.

0% to 100%

Threadpool Usage

The number of active threads per threadpool as a percentage of the max pool size.

0% to 100%

Monitor by Business Rules

Option

Description

Add Business Rule

Add one or more business rules to run on the same interval as the implemented metrics. The business rules are run in the order that they are displayed. For more information, see Set System Alerts Using a Business Rule.

Event Name

The event name that triggers the business rule. This field is required.
