Set System Alerts
The System Alert page in System
Note: To perform this task, you must be signed in as the SystemAdmin or SuperAdmin user. For more information, see
- Go to System
- In the Configuration pane, select the System Alert check box to turn on the system alerts.
- For Output Path, enter the fully qualified path to the location to store the generated results file. If no path is specified, a results file is not generated.
Tip: To preserve previous results files, prevent files from being overwritten by including the timestamp substring %t in the filename.

- For Output Level, select the urgency level to include in the results file.
- Informational: Includes measurements with urgency levels of Informational, Warning, and Alert.
- Warning: Includes measurements with urgency levels of Warning and Alert.
- Alert: Includes measurements with an urgency level of Alert only.
- For Monitor Interval, specify a time interval to take measurements and generate the results file, or leave the default value of 5 minutes.
- Select the check boxes for each metric you want to monitor.
- To modify the Alert Level and Warn Level values, double-click the value you want to modify and enter the new value.
- Click Save.
