View the Status of a Device

For each device connection configured in Loftware Enterprise SP, you can view whether the device A physical printer, print queue, or other target for output, such as an image file or a PDF file. is online, unreachable, or has failed. You can use the Device Status component in the Dashboard panel of Status to see the number of devices in each status.

To see the status of a specific device, do the following.

1. Click Status.
2. Click Devices.
3. In the Devices Summary page, enter criteria for the device, and then click Search . For more information, see Search Devices. The status of the device is displayed in the Status column.

Note: Data displayed in Status is not dynamically updated. To update the data, click Search .

4. To view on-demand device status information from the device, click a device name and then click Detailed Status in the toolbar.
