Detailed Status for Loftware Devices

If the Family selected is Server and the Model selected is Loftware for the Loftware NiceLabel driver, then the Detailed Status tab is displayed.

This tab enables you to manage whether Loftware Enterprise SP is allowed to contact the device to request status information, and also enables you to request detailed information from the device on-demand. You can retrieve detailed information such as whether the device is out of label stock or whether the device is experiencing errors.

Tip: Basic status information about whether the device is started and whether the device service is running is displayed in the Properties pane.

Important: To ensure that your device settings are applied when printing and that all users have the same device settings, you must define the settings for the device on the Windows Server where the Loftware driver is installed. For more information, see Define Default Printer Settings
