Define Default Printer Settings

When you use computers as printer servers for Loftware NiceLabel drivers, you want the same printer settings (such as speed, darkness, ribbon use, etc.) to apply to all printer server users and users printing on shared printers from their computers. To ensure that your device settings are applied when printing and that all users have the same printer settings, you must define the settings for the device on the Windows Server where the Loftware NiceLabel driver is installed.

To change printer driver defaults for all users including network users connecting to shared printers, use this procedure.

1. On the Windows Server where the Loftware NiceLabel driver is installed, go to Start and search for Printers & Scanners in System Settings.
2. In the Printers & scanners window, click your printer and then click Manage.
3. Click Printer properties.
4. Go to the Advanced tab.
5. Click Printing Defaults.
6. Change your settings.
7. Click Apply and then click OK.
