Layers Panel
The Layers panel is displayed in a label template when you click View > Layers.
You can use this panel to add layer areas to the label template. You can also use this panel to manage the layer areas in this label template. That is, you can configure properties, such as the visibility, outline color, and stacking order for each layer area relative to others.

A type of object that can contain fields appropriate for the Label view of label template. To be used by a label template, a layer object must be referenced by a layer area in the label template., see Create a Layer Object.
Tip: You can change the stacking order of layer areas relative to each other by dragging the layer areas in the Layers panel. The stacking order of the layers is the same as their order in the list. You can change the position of a layer area in the stacking order of all fields and areas by using commands in the Position section of the Arrange tab.

Layer Area Properties

Line Color |
The color that outlines the envelope of the layer area if Apply Color is selected. Tip: You can edit this property by clicking the color sample. You can select a color or enter a hexadecimal RGB color value. You can also view and change whether the color is applied. |
