SystemStop Synchronization

You can cancel a specific synchronization while it is in progress or turn off all future synchronization.

Alternatively, you can turn off synchronization for a specific object, a type of object, or a folder, or you can turn off all synchronization with a specific facility. You can do so either at the headquarters or at a facility. For more information, see Select Objects to Sync.

Note: Facilities and other functionality related to multi-site deployment are available only if your Loftware Enterprise SP license has the Multi-Site property enabled. Some options are displayed only if you are signed in to the headquarters site.

Cancel Synchronization in Progress

A synchronization takes effect on each object individually. You can cancel a synchronization that is in progress, preventing any more objects from being synchronized. However, canceling a synchronization does not undo the effects on objects already processed during that synchronization.

To cancel a specific synchronization while it is in progress, perform the following steps.

  1. In System System Management, click Facilities.
  2. Navigate to and open the facility for which you want to cancel a synchronization.
  3. In the ribbon, click View > Configuration Sync or View > Transaction Sync.
  4. In the Configuration Sync or Transaction Sync dialog box, click Abort Sync.
  5. Review the result in the table. To view additional detail, click History Details.

Turn Off Transaction Synchronization for a Facility

You can turn off the replication of transactional dataClosed In a multi-site deployment of Loftware, information about recent synchronizations that can be used for auditing. During a transaction sync, this data can be replicated from a facility to headquarters. from a specific facility to headquarters.To turn off synchronization of transactional data for a facility, perform the following steps.

  1. In System System Management, click Facilities.
  2. Navigate to and open the facility for which you want to turn off transaction synchronization.
  3. In the Transaction Sync panel, click Disabled.
  4. Click File > Save or Save .

Turn Off Synchronization for All Facilities

To turn off synchronization for all facilities, perform the following steps.

  1. Sign in to the headquarters.
  2. In System System Management, click Service Management.
  3. To turn off all synchronization of objects to all facilities, in the Core Services panel, turn off Object Sync Service.
  4. To turn off all synchronization of transaction data from all facilities, in the Core Services panel, turn off Transaction Sync Service.
