Requirements for SAP GLM+ Integration

The following are the requirements for Loftware Integration for SAP® GLM+ and Loftware Automation when using Loftware Cloud to integrate with SAP GLM+.

SAP GLM+ Requirements

Integrating this Loftware labeling solution with SAP GLM+ requires either SAP S/4HANA® Cloud Private Edition, SAP S/4HANA® (on-prem), or SAP ERP 6.0. For detailed SAP platform requirements for integration, see Getting Started with Loftware Integration for SAP® GLM+.

Tip: In SAP GLM+, Loftware Integration for SAP GLM+ is represented as a Business Add-In (BAdI) called the Loftware Business Add-In (BAdI). The Loftware Integration for SAP® GLM+ Installation and Configuration Guide provides instructions for installing and configuring the Loftware BAdI. Loftware Cloud Requirements for Integration

If integrating Loftware Cloud (not including Loftware Cloud Enterprise SP) with SAP® Global Label Management (GLM), the following are required.

Loftware license	A Loftware Cloud license that includes the following: Loftware Cloud Business edition, Loftware Cloud Compliance edition, or Loftware Cloud Enterprise edition, version 24.2 or later SAP Integration
Loftware Automation	Loftware Automation must be installed. Additionally, Loftware will provide an Automation configuration file (.misx) and configuration text file (.txt) that support SAP GLM+. These configuration files should be installed before Loftware Integration for SAP GLM+ is installed.
Loftware Cloud subscription key	A Loftware Cloud subscription key, which should be created before Loftware Integration for SAP GLM+ is installed.

Loftware Automation

Loftware Automation must be installed. Additionally, Loftware will provide an Automation configuration file (.misx) and configuration text file (.txt) that support SAP GLM+. These configuration files should be installed before Loftware Integration for SAP GLM+ is installed.

Loftware Cloud subscription key

A Loftware Cloud subscription key, which should be created before Loftware Integration for SAP GLM+ is installed.

Loftware Automation Requirements

Automation must be installed in the default location on your server.
Automation prerequisites:
- Printer drivers must be installed. You can install printer drivers directly on your computer, or you can register the drivers from the print server you may have.
  
  Note: For the best printing experience, we recommend you install Loftware drivers.
  
  To install Loftware printer drivers, see the Printer Driver Installation Guide.
  
  If you already have printer manufacturer's drivers, you can replace them with Loftware printer drivers to optimize your printing process.
  
  If you already have Loftware printer drivers, we recommend you update them to the latest versions. See Updating printer drivers.
- All printers must be visible to the computer and the user account under which the Automation Service runs. Automation creates print jobs on this computer and sends them to the printers using Windows Spooler. The printers must be accessible for printing for the user account under which Automation Service runs. Make sure to use a real user account when using network printers. (Do not use a Local System Account.)
