Configure Options for SAP GLM+ Integration

Print requests received from SAP GLM+ include a label template name, but no path for use in Loftware Cloud. You must specify the folder in which label templates for use with SAP GLM+ integration are stored. Additionally, you can also configure other options for SAP GLM+ integration. To do so, you edit a configuration text file provided in the SAP GLM+ integration package and upload it along with the Automation configuration file to Control Center. To change the options after initial configuration, edit the configuration text file.

Tip: For information about the options in config.txt, see Options for SAP GLM+ Integration.

To configure options for SAP GLM+ integration, do the following.

  1. Unzip the SAP GLM+ integration package (.zip) for Loftware Cloud.

  2. Open the config.txt file in a text editor.

  3. For the cfgLabelFolder option, enter the URL for the folder in Control Center > Documents to contain label templates (.nlbl files) to be used with SAP GLM+.

    Example

    cfgLabelFolder=https://example.onnicelabel.com:8080/sap-glm/labels

  4. Either configure or comment out each of the remaining options. For information about these options, see Options for SAP GLM+ Integration.

  5. Save and close the config.txt file.

  6. In Control Center > Documents, upload the Automation configuration file (.misx) and config.txt file to your Control Center.

    Important! The config.txt file must be stored in the same folder as the Automation configuration file (.misx).

    Tip: If you want to make changes to the configuration options later, you can edit a copy of the text file and upload it to Control Center to replace your original configuration. When updating, you do not need to upload the Automation configuration file (.misx) again.

    Best Practice: As part of testing the label design, you can import label variables from SAP GLM+ and generate sample values for them when previewing the output of a label template in Loftware Desktop Designer. For more information, see Preview Labels with Sample Data for SAP GLM+ Integration.
