Inverse Attribute Not Appearing as Expected on Centered Data Field
Problem
In Design32, a label is designed with a data field using a True Type Font that has the Padding set to Center with spaces and the Inverse set to Yes. When printing, the data is centered within the allotted field, but the inverse effect stops at the last character in the data causing the field to appear as though it is NOT centered.
Expected Result Actual Result
Solution
The fix for this involves selecting a mono-spaced font AND setting the Formatter attribute to RTF. For testing purposes, Courier New was used in this example, but any installed font that is of the mono-spaced class can be used for this purpose. Simply research mono-spaced fonts for additional information on other suitable fonts.
- RTF is only available on 10.2 and newer releases. Formatter not available as a property in older versions.
- This was tested internally using both Intermec and Zebra printers.
