Connector for SAP: SAP RFC Listener Connector Unable to Connect to SAP

Problem

Using SAP Connector See Loftware Connector. for transaction processing causes labels to stop printing.

The Widows Event Viewer showed the following error reported.

Explanation

There can be several reasons why this error might occur, but this article focuses on the GWHOST entry within the Sapnwrfc.ini file was not using the fully qualified domain name.

Solution

Use the fully qualified domain name for the GWHOST name in the Sapnwrfc.ini. After this has been modified restart the SAP Connector to apply the changes.
