Printing Inverse Text

This articles describes how to print text on a label with an inverted, white-on-black effect.

Solution

The ability to print text fields with an inverse effect is dependent upon the capabilities of the printer being used and associated with the label design.

If your printer supports inverse printing, follow these steps:

1. Open the label in question in Loftware Design Mode, and
2. Left-click one of the fields that you wish to print inversed.
3. Set the Font Category to Native Font
4. Set the Inverse property{}* to Yes in the Properties box (View > Properties) .
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each field that you wish to print inversed.
6. Save the label and initiate a test print to verify that the modified fields are printing correctly.

*Note: If the Inverse property is not available, then the printer associated with the label design does not support inverse printing.
