Printers Time Out When Printing Labels

Description

What to do when printers time out when Printing Labels with a large image to a Loftware Printer with an IP address.

Solution

Sending large images via a TCP/IP Socket Connection can sometimes result in a time out condition,where the connection between the LPS and the printer is lost. The solution is to increase the Timeout Value in Loftware Design.

To increase the time allowed for a busy connection:

1. Open Loftware Design.
2. Navigate to File | Devices [or F6] | Connection
3. Increase the Timeout value in the Advanced Settings section (recommended 20 seconds or more).
