Missing Device Family Entry in Design32

Problem

When attempting to add a new Device, design a new label, or change an existing Device or Label A label is a design area on the computer screen where a label format is created or edited., certain Device families are not displayed in the Family or Manufacturer drop-down list.

Explanation

A Device Family A manufactured line of printers. Loftware currently supports a number Device Families, including Alien, Avery, AWID, C.Itoh, Citizen, Datamax, Eltron, Fastmark, IBM, Imtec, Intermec, Novexx, Paxar/Monarch, PCL5, Pressiza, Printronix, Quick Label, Sato, Symbol TEC, ThingMagic, UBI, Windows and Zebra. Loftware is continually adding support for new devices and device families. may be configured to not display in the Design32 View/Hide Device Families settings.

Solution

1. In Design32, go to Options > Device Families.
   
   
   
2. In the View/Hide Device Families dialog box, select the Device Family you want displayed in Design32, then click the Show >>> button to move the Device Family from Devices Not Displayed to Devices Displayed.
    
   The Device Family will now show in Design32.
