Graphics Printing Inconsistent Results

Description

Graphics printing has inconsistent results such as missing or distorted graphics when printing to the serial (com) port.

Solution

This problem occurs when the handshake between a PC (running on WIN95B/98/ME) and the printer breaks down, which may be caused by the UseVXD setting in the Loftware Configuration File. The default is 1, (setting is enabled).
To correct this, disable the UseVXD option as follows:

1. Browse to your Operating System directory (Windows) from Windows Explorer, and open the Loftware Design ini file, llmwdn32.ini
2. Look for a section in the file with a header of [Private].
3. Enter the following string underneath it on a new line:
   UseVXD=0
   

4. Save and close the file.
