Cab Printer Using Unneeded Color Ribbon on Label with Ribbon Saver Selected in Printing Preferences

Description

Using a large label with a little color, the color ribbon runs for the whole label even when parts of the label do not require color.

The Cab printer is using unneeded color ribbon on the label even with ribbon saver selected in Printing Preferences.

Solution

Perform the following steps: 

1. Right click on the printer.
2. Go to Printing preferences. Under the advanced tab, make sure the ribbon saver option is checked
3. Go into Options. In the options window, under Print Optimization, choose "Force Optimization for all software" and "Force image optimization".  
4. Click close and then apply and OK.
