Printing Halts When Printing To Zebra Printer

DescPrint job halts during printing, does not finish.

Solution

When sending a Print Job with images or TrueType fonts to a Zebra Printer, Loftware sends (by default) an ^EG command (Erase Graphics) to the printer. This behavior may be firmware related, as the ^EG command is now obsolete for Zebra Printers. As a result, printers with x.10 firmware and above become locked during the print job.
To correct this issue, complete the following:

1. Open the Loftware Design ini file.
2. Choose Start > Run, and type in llmwdn32.ini. The INI file opens.
3. Add [Zebra] at the bottom of the INI file if it is not there.
4. Type on the line just below: DontClearImages=1
5. Save and close the INI file.

6. Re-open Loftware, send the print job again.
