Solution

The following steps describe how to configure a UBI 501 or 601 XP for parallel printing:

1. Cycle the power on the printer (turn it off and then on).
2. When prompted to "Enter=Shell" press Enter.
3. From "Sel. Application" press Enter.
4. Press the F5 key until the display reads "Centronics"; press Enter.

The printer is now configured to print via a Parallel Connection.
