When printing to a Monarch (Paxar) 9446, I get the following Syntax The way in which data is put together to form messages.  Syntax also includes rules governing the use of appropriate identifiers, delimiters, separator character(s), and other non-data characters within the message.  Syntax with Bar Codes and RFID Tags is the equivalent to grammar in spoken language. error:

Solution

The following is a potential solution to this problem:

1. Select File > Printers or F6 from Design or one of the Print Modules.
2. Highlight the printer in question; click Printer Setup .In Loftware Versions 7x +, click Options.
3. Check the box labeled Old Firmware; click OK.

4. Initiate a test print to verify that the error has been cleared.
