Missing Fields on an Intermec 3400
Description
When printing to an Intermec 3400, certain fields on the label do not print.
Solution
This problem occurs if your printer does not have enough memory allocated for storing formats.
To increase memory allocation, issue the following commands from a DOS prompt:
c:\>copy con port[ENTER]
<STX><SI>Namount to allocate<ETX> [Ctrl-Z]
- Port: The port that the printer is attached to (LPT1, COM1, COM2, etc).
- Amount to allocate: Amount of memory to allocate in kilobytes. Default is 60.
Issue the memory allocation command, cycle the power on the printer and try a test print. If fields are still missing, increase memory allocation in 20 kb increments until all fields print.
