How to Reset Memory on Intermec Printer

Description

Erratic behavior on Intermec printers can often point to a printer memory corruption problem. Symptoms may include but are not limited to images not printing, serial communication problems, and fields not locating correctly. When memory corruption occurs it may become necessary to reset the memory on the printer.

How to reset the memory on an Intermec Printer

Caution: Any of these memory reset procedures set the printer to Intermec Standard flow control, as well as clear all stored formats, fonts & images from the printer memory.

  1. Go to File > Printers.
  2. Select your printer and then click the Connection button.
  3. Click the Reset to Defaults button.
