ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation.- Error When Using an ODBC to Oracle

Description

When trying to add a field on a label using an Oracle ODBC connection, the following error occurs.

If printing from On Demand Print, the error will be prefaced with the following.

 However, the ODBC passes the "Test Connection" test.

Cause

The issue is caused by the query timing out within the Design32 or On Demand32 program.

Solution

1. In the Control Panel for the Windows, double-click  Administrative Tools.
2. In the Administrative Tools dialog box, double-click Data Sources (ODBC)
3. Select your ODBC connection.
4. On the configuration page for your ODBC connection, there is a check box; Enable ODBC Timeout. Make sure this is un-checked.
