Java-based software that establishes a high-speed connectivity bridge between UNIX-based enterprise applications and the Loftware Print Server (LPS). for Oracle cannot be uninstalled using the InstallAnywhere setup wizard. This occurs when the InstallAnywhere wizard does not have uninstall as an option. Additionally, InstallAnywhere will display an error stating that the Console is already installed when the install option is chosen.
Explanation
When the Connector Console is installed, there are no Windows registry settings set. As a result, the Connector Console does not appear in the "Add or Remove Programs" or "Programs and Features" list in Windows Control Panel. The normal method for uninstallation is to run the setup utility for the Connector Console and choose uninstall as the operation to perform. If uninstall is not an option, then there is a problem with the InstallAnywhere file that is used to register installed programs. In this case, the Connector Console will need to be uninstalled manually.
