Dropping LPS Files To NFS Mounted Drives
Description
When I drop .pas/.csv/*.cmd and *.bch files to an NFS mounted drive, the Loftware Print Server does not pick them up for processing.
Solution
Note: The Loftware Connector Java-based software that establishes a high-speed connectivity bridge between UNIX-based enterprise applications and the Loftware Print Server (LPS). family of products can help you eliminate the need to mount NSF drives. See the Loftware Connector product page for information on how a Loftware Connector
See Loftware Connector. can help you solve network connectivity issues.
Because most NFS mounted drives do not support the Windows NT event model used by the LPS to detect file drops, you need to enable polling if your LPS scan directory is on a NFS mounted drive.
