Launching Desired Loftware Module When Opening a Label
Description
Is it possible to have my labels open in a Loftware module other than On-Demand Print when I double-click on an *.lwl file?
Solution
To have label files automatically open in a program other than On-Demand Print, follow these steps:
- Double-click the "My Computer" icon; select View > Options from the menu bar.
- Select the File Types tab and look for Label
A label is a design area on the computer screen where a label format is created or edited. Document in the list of registered file types. Highlight it and click Edit. The Edit File Types dialog opens.
- Select Open, click Edit in the section titled Actions. The Action Edit dialog opens.
- Enter the command line to the Loftware Module you wish to use when opening label files under "Application used to perform action".
32 bit OS Example:
Entering "C:\Program Files\Loftware Labeling\Llmwdn32.exe""%1" causes the label to be loaded into Design on a PC that has the Loftware Label Manager installed to C:\Program Files\Loftware Labeling.
64 bit OS Example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Loftware Labeling\....
