Lotus Notes / Outlook 2000 Setup

1. Install Microsoft Outlook 2000, and during mail setup choose to connect to third party email programs.
2. Install Lotus Notes Client (Version 5.02 recommended)
3. Click Show Profiles from the control panel Mail icon
4. Click ADD a new profile
5. Select Lotus Notes Mail
6. Type in LPS Agent for the Profile Name; click Next.
7. Enter your lotus notes password.A Congratulations dialog box is displayed
8. Click Next.
9. The Done dialog box displays the installed services; click Finish
10. Remove any profiles not being used; choose LPS Agent as the default profile for Outlook.Outlook must be open in order for the LPS Agent to utilize the MAPI
11. Configure the LPS Notification Agent.

12. Start the LPS Notification Agent interactively to verify MAPI logon.
