Display a System Message
A Loftware Enterprise SP administrator can display a system message to all Loftware Enterprise SP users. For example, this is useful if there is a need to perform system maintenance that requires a restart, and you want to notify users that they will be automatically signed out. When a system message is applied, users can hover over the notification icon that appears in the top menu bar to see the message.
Note: To perform this task, you must be signed in as the ClientAdmin, SystemAdmin, or SuperAdmin user. For more information, see
To display a system message, use the following procedure.
- In System
- In the System Message field of the System Administration panel, enter a message.
Example
Loftware Enterprise SP will be down for system maintenance from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. You will be signed out of Loftware Enterprise SP at 5:30 pm and unable to sign in until 6:30 pm. Please be sure to save your work prior to the scheduled system maintenance.
- Click Apply. The notification
icon appears in the top menu bar, and the system message is displayed when you hover over the notification
icon.
Remove a System Message
- In System
- Click Clear below System Message in the System Administration panel.
The system message and notification
icon are removed from the top menu bar.
