Custom Commands for SATO Devices

If the Family selected is Family Driver and the Model selected is SBPL SATO Barcode Program Language, a programming language for communication between a computer and a printer., or if the Family selected is SATO, then the Custom Commands tab displays the following options. Custom commands are sent even if Send Options is cleared in the Advanced tab.

Command Location

You can configure custom SBPL commands to occur in specific locations within the job.

Option	Description
Before Label	Command to occur as the first command sent to the device at the start of the job. On an extended print job (multiple label requests in print stream), this command occurs only before the first label request.
After Control Strings	Command to occur after the option stream.
After Label	Command to occur as the last command sent after each label.
