Printer Job Language (PJL) Collation Commands

The following PJL Printer Job Language. A printer language developed by HP for controlling and monitoring devices at the print job level. commands are available with PCL devices. They can be used as part of the Custom Commands for PCL 5c Devices and Custom Commands for PCL 5e Devices.

The following commands are intended to configure collation within print jobs for PCL devices in Loftware Loftware Enterprise SP.

Note: PCL is an open standard that differs in implementation depending on the device and manufacturer. Testing with the specific devices that will be used is highly recommended.

Command	Description
UEL + @PJL	Enter PJL (UEL is Universal Exit Language command, <ESC>%-12345X)
@PJL JOB	Start a job
@PJL SET QTY = #	Set the quantity to be printed, this is collated
@PJL SET COPIES = #	Set the copies to be printed, this is the same as QTY except it is uncollated
@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE PCL	Switch to PCL
@PJL EOJ	End of job
