Detailed Status for PCL 5e Devices
If the Family selected is PCL
Printer Command Language, a printer control language from Hewlett-Packard. and the Model selected is PCL 5e, the Detailed Status tab displays the following options. For more information about drivers and Loftware Enterprise™ SP, see Managing Devices.
This tab enables you to manage whether Loftware Enterprise SP is allowed to contact the device to request detailed information, and also enables you to request detailed information from the device on-demand. You can retrieve detailed information about the status and configuration of the device, such as the model number, firmware version, media type, whether the device is out of label stock, and whether the device is experiencing errors.
Tip: Basic status information about whether the device is started and whether the device service is running is displayed in the Properties pane.
Status Options
You can manage whether Loftware Enterprise SP is allowed to contact the device to request detailed information about its status and configuration.
