Barcode Imaging for Intermec IPL Devices

If the Family selected is Family Driver and the Model selected is IPL Intermec Printer Language, a printer control language., then the Barcode Imaging tab displays the following options. Some options may not be relevant to some device models.

If the Family selected is Intermec and an IPL model is selected, then only options appropriate to that model are displayed. For more information about drivers and Loftware Enterprise™ SP, see Managing Devices.

<Symbology>	For each symbology, whether to print a barcode as an image or to use the device's native ability to encode the barcode. Note that imaged symbologies may appear slightly different from native symbologies when printed. Note: The Send Field As setting specified in the Properties for a barcode field overrides the option for the relevant symbology on the Barcode Imaging tab for both LSOs and device options. For more information, see Common Properties for Barcodes.	: The device encodes the barcode. If the device does not support native encoding of barcodes, then the barcode is encoded by Loftware Enterprise SP and printed as an image. (Default) : Loftware Enterprise SP encodes the barcode and prints it as an image.

Cleared (Off) : The device encodes the barcode. If the device does not support native encoding of barcodes, then the barcode is encoded by Loftware Enterprise SP and printed as an image. (Default)

Selected (On) : Loftware Enterprise SP encodes the barcode and prints it as an image.
