Options for Eltron Devices
If the Family selected is Eltron or Family Driver, and the Model selected is EPL2 Eltron Printer Language, a printer language from Eltron then the Optionstab displays the following options. Some options may not be relevant to some device models.
Label Control

Device Resolution (dpi) |
The resolution capability of the device in Dots Per Inch (dpi). |
This value is obtained from the device and is read-only. |
Print Direction | When a label is printed, whether the bottom edge of the label or the top edge of the label comes out of the device first. | Bottom First (Default): The bottom edge of the label comes out of the device first. Top First: The top edge of the label comes out of the device first. Do Not Send Option: No value for this option is sent to the device. Select this value if you want to configure the option at your device. |
Text Box Overrun Mode |
How Loftware Enterprise SP should respond if the amount of data received for a Text Box field is more than can fit. Tip: If the Text Box Overrun Mode is specified in the job data, that overrides any mode specified in Label Specific Options in Label Design |
Allow Overrun: The text continues beyond the bottom of the envelope for the field. For a printed label, as much of the text as can fit on the label is printed. Truncate Data: Text that does not fit is not printed or displayed. The preceding text is printed or displayed. Truncate Data at Paragraph Break: A paragraph that does not fit is not printed or displayed. The preceding paragraph is printed or displayed. Fail Print Job on Overrun: Any print job that includes a Text Box field in which the data received does not fit is failed and is not printed or displayed. Cutter Options

Cut Position |
The distance in increments of 1/203 of an inch by which to adjust the where the tag is cut. This distance is parallel to the direction of printing and is relative to the index marks if such exist. Increasing this value moves the position of the cut upward relative to the media. |
