Change the Field Tabbing Order

You can change the order in which prompts receive focus as a user enters information and presses the Tab key to move to the next prompt on the data entry form.

Alternatively, you can Dynamically Manage the Tab Order of a Control or use a Focus Action. To manage whether the control is a tab stop, use the Tab Stop control property.

Note: By default, the first prompt that is added has a tab order value of 1, the second prompt that is added has a tab order value of 2, and so on.

1. From the Form view, in the View tab, click Field Tabbing Order. The Field Tabbing Order box appears.
2. Arrange the available fields by dragging them into the intended order.

The tabbing order is changed for users entering data in Applications .
