Using Text

Fixed Text fields contain text that remains the same for all printed labels that use a particular label template. For example, you can use Fixed Text fields for data such as company name or address.

Variable Text fields and Text Box fields contain text that can vary among printed labels produced using the same label template. For example, you can use Variable Text fields for data such as customer name or part number. Text Box fields provide additional formatting options for text that spans more than one line.

Note: Text Box fields are always sent to the printer as images. They do not use a printer's native fonts.
