Adding Fields

To add a field, drag a type of field from the Insert ribbon to the Label view or Form view to add a field. Your mouse pointer indicates where the upper left corner of the field will appear.

Note: Some fields, such as text boxes, can only be placed in the Label view. Other fields, such as prompts and buttons, can only be placed in the Form view.

Adding Areas

To add a layer area, see Using Layers.

Note: Some areas, such as layer areas, can only be placed in the Label view. Other areas, such as reference areas, can only be placed in a layout rather than in a label template.
