Permissions for Version-Controlled Objects

The following table lists the permissions required to perform actions on a version-controlled object and the built-in roles that have those permissions. You can use the built-in roles to assign permissions to users, or you can create custom roles. Custom roles can be created using the Add Role or Copy Role commands.

Permissions for Document Commands

The following actions may be performed on version-controlled label templates, applications, business rules, forms, images, layer objects, layouts, reusable objects, or workflow templates. To perform one of these actions, a user must have the required permissions. In addition to the following permissions, List and Read permissions for Documents are typically necessary to select and view these types of objects.
