New infrastructure capabilities
Loftware Cloud now offers expanded infrastructure options providing tailored solutions to meet diverse customers’ requirements.
Each Loftware Cloud product provides the standard capabilities that you can upgrade with a respective add-on. These additions allow customers to optimize their deployments based on specific needs, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
The configuration options include:
-
Azure SQL Cloud database. This is a database for customers’ own labeling content (not to be mistaken with the system database that Control Center uses for document storage and print history). There are several upgrade options, depending on your product tier. You can upgrade the database size and performance (DTU).
-
High-performance APIs. Your Loftware Cloud product (Business or above) exposes access to Loftware Cloud APIs that you can consume from within Loftware software solutions or from external applications. The most used APIs are Cloud Trigger API and Cloud Print API. A standard throughput includes 5,000 requests per hour with five requests per second for burst rate. If you require large-scale data transfer and rapid throughput when using APIs, you can select move to one of the premium tiers.
-
Hybrid deployment. A flexibility to license both on-prem and cloud-based instances for seamless operation in hybrid environments. This option allows the installation of the on-prem Control Center to run as a proxy between the on-prem clients and Loftware Cloud backend or to run in a completely offline mode (with enabled remote activation option).
Please contact Loftware for any details regarding available upgrade options for your specific product tier.
