Printer driver removal using Windows Tools

Use this method only in special situations, where PrnInst is not acceptable.

You can remove your printer drivers in Print Management console.

Note

On some Windows systems, Print Management console is not enabled by default.

  1. To open the Print Management console, press Windows key and type "Print Management".

  2. Expand Print Servers > Your_computer_name.

  3. Click Printers node.

  4. Select the printer and delete it.

  5. Click Drivers node.

  6. Right-click your driver, then click Remove Driver Package...

Your printer driver is now removed from the system.
