Loftware Web Client cannot open if using Google login

Problem

When you try to login with your Google account, Loftware Web Client won't start.

Solution

Solution 1

Enable Browser Emulation Feature on the computer where Loftware Web Client is installed.

  1. Open Registry Editor and navigate to the key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InternetHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATIONExplorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION

  2. Set the value LoftwareLoftware Web Client.exe: (REG_DWORD): Hex: 2af8 (decimal: 11000)

  3. Restart Loftware Web Client.

Solution 2

Settings on a Proxy server between your system and authentication server can block Google authentication. Check the settings on the Proxy server.

Solution 3

Make sure that JavaScript option is enabled in Internet Properties.

  1. In Control Panel open Internet Options.

  2. Internet Properties window opens. Go to the Security tab, click Internet, then click Custom level....

  3. Security Settings - Internet Zone window opens. Enable the Scripting and Scripting of Java applets options.
