Loftware Cloud 2026 R2 Release Notes
July 2026
Summary
This release extends Loftware Cloud capabilities for the Designer product edition by adding browser-based label printing as an additional method for initiating print jobs. The release also includes several minor enhancements and quality improvements.
Browser-based Label Printing
You can now initiate label printing directly from Control Center or Web Designer, providing a browser-based printing option alongside existing methods such as Loftware Designer.
You can continue to print labels stored in Document Storage using Loftware Designer, as supported in previous releases. With this release, you can also print these labels directly from Control Center or Web Designer. Labels stored locally can only be printed from Loftware Designer.
To support browser-based printing, you must install the Loftware Edge Client, a local service that enables printing from Loftware Cloud to local or network printers. You can download the Loftware Edge Client from the Control Center dashboard.
