Description

When printing labels using the LPS, certain variable keyboard entry fields do not print, despite the fact that their "Printing Field" property is set to "Yes" and I have provided data in my drop file for all fields.

Explanation

This problem may occur if the field in question is overlapping or being overlapped by another field on the On-Demand Print form.

Solution

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Open the label in question in Loftware Label Manager, and select View | On-Demand Print Form. Design opens the On-Demand Print Form view.
  2. Select a field on this screen, and while holding down the left mouse button, reposition the field slightly and make sure that there are no fields beneath it.
  3. With each field on the form separated, re-save the label and attempt to print from the LPS.
if any two fields directly overlap the label does not print. Repeat this for every field on the form, moving any fields that overlap to separate areas on the form.
