Problem

When a user tries to log into Loftware WebAccess listed as a user role, the following error message is displayed on the login screen:

MSG104: Rules Engine Error

Explanation

This error may occur when an Administrator logs into Loftware WebAccess and applies a rule that specifies a device name that has already been specified in another rule.  When a non-Administrator user tries to log into Loftware WebAccess, they receive the MSG104 error.

Solution

To resolve this issue, the Administrator needs to delete one of the rules and/or change the "device name" that is referenced in the IF THEN logic.
