This article discusses the following error message:
(M4859) Unable to move XXXX.pas to C:\Program Files\Loftware Labeling\WDDrop\OLEBP\XXXX.pas
Explanation
Dropped files are not being picked up by the LPS from a remote scan path. They are using UNC pathing, polling is enabled and the wdscan.dir file is present in the folder. Log in using the LPS account. Start the LPS using Interactive mode and the Options | Security Checks returns no issues.
Solution
Start the interactive LPS and watch logging for stated error message.Give the Loftware user Read, Write, Modify permissions to the scan folder.
Result
Once the permissions on the scan folder are corrected jobs will process normally.
